Reverse Osmosis (RO) Pressure Gauge

Ensure Proper PSI for Optimal RO Performance
Adequate water pressure is essential for any reverse osmosis system. Low pressure is a leading cause of poor RO performance, including reduced water output and increased waste. A pressure gauge allows you to monitor your water pressure and identify drops that indicate when pre-filters need replacement.

Features:

  • Pre-assembled with 1/4" quick connect fittings for easy installation.

  • Ideal for under-sink drinking water systems, saltwater aquariums, hydroponics, and other RO applications.

  • Helps prevent damage to membranes from excessive pressure.

Installation Recommendations:

  1. Turn off your water supply and relieve pressure by opening the product water line.

  2. Choose a location for installation. We recommend after the sediment and carbon filters, but before the RO membrane. This placement shows filter clogging and ensures the membrane receives adequate pressure.

  3. Cut the 1/4" RO tubing straight using a tubing cutter or scissors.

  4. Insert the tubing into the supplied “T” fitting for the gauge.

  5. Slowly turn the water back on and check for leaks.

Notes:

  • Water flow direction does not affect readings.

  • Installing a gauge before the RO unit can show household tap pressure, but monitoring after micron filters is optimal for membrane protection and system efficiency.

Tip: Always purchase the pressure gauge at the same time as your RO system for proper installation.
