This well water softener and iron filtration system combines high-quality Fleck 5600 softening technology with KDF85 MediaGuard to remove hardness, iron, sulfur, manganese, odors, and heavy metals — providing cleaner, safer, and great-tasting water throughout your home. Perfect for well water applications.

System Features:

• Mineral Tank: 1.0 cu ft upgraded 10% cross-linked softening resin (preloaded)

• Brine Tank: With safety float

• Fleck 5600 SXT Metered Control Valve: Fully programmable LED control

• Plastic Bypass Valve: 1" standard (3/4" available on request)

• KDF85 MediaGuard: Removes iron, sulfur, heavy metals, controls bacteria, and inhibits scale formation

• Gravel and Distributor Tube included

How It Works:

1. Water flows through the gravel bed, filtering large debris and sediment.

2. Fine mesh resin removes hardness and iron.

3. KDF85 MediaGuard removes additional iron, sulfur, heavy metals, odors, and inhibits bacterial growth.

Performance Capabilities:

• Removes hardness up to 50 GPG

• Removes iron up to 6 ppm (mg/L)

• Removes hydrogen sulfide up to 2 ppm

• Filters sediment, chemicals, odors, and other contaminants

Installation Notes:

• Hoses and drain line not included, but can usually be sourced locally

• Ships in two packages: one containing the mineral tank, the other containing the brine tank with valve and fittings
