How It Works

• Granule Structure: Angular shape, rough surface, and microporous void spaces provide over 100× the surface area of standard sand filters.

• Filtration Mechanisms: Physically traps suspended solids while also removing colloidal and soluble contaminants through sorption, chemical-binding, coagulation, charge neutralization, and ion-exchange phenomena.

• Deep Bed Filtration: Allows sediment to penetrate deeper into the bed, preventing rapid head loss and filter blinding.
