This all-in-one whole house water softener and conditioner combines a high-capacity water softener with KDF55 MediaGuard technology to remove chlorine, heavy metals, and inhibit bacterial growth. System Features:

• 9"x48" Mineral Tank with 1.0 cu ft upgraded 10% cross-linked resin (preloaded)

• Fleck 5600 SXT digital metered valve – fully programmable LED control

• KDF55 MediaGuard – mounted between the valve and tank; reduces chlorine, heavy metals, hydrogen sulfide, and bacteria without chemicals

• Plastic bypass valve (1", 3/4" available on request)

• Brine tank with safety float (salt not included)

• Gravel and distributor tube included

• Dust cover and distributor assembly with upper/lower screens

How It Works:

1. Hard water enters the softener through the "in" port and passes through the control valve into the resin tank.

2. Water flows through specially prepared cation resin beads, exchanging hardness minerals (calcium and magnesium) for sodium.

3. Softened water rises through the center riser tube and exits via the control valve to your home.

4. When the resin is saturated, the system automatically regenerates using a brine solution, removing hardness minerals and restoring the resin.
